Percy Jackson is a kid who found out that his father is the Greek god, Posiedon. He is sent to a summer camp for demigods, or people who have one parent who is a god, called Camp halfblood. Percy and his friends go on many thrilling adventures throughout the book. There are three other Percy Jackson books. The fourth and last will come out in July.

The Percy Jackson and the Olympians series is by Rick Rioradan. One surprising fact about the best selling series and the author is that this surprisingly good series is Rick Riordan's first childrens book. He has written several adult novels, though.
